Now if the club is only looking for former Tigers that is stupid but if they just happen to be the right ones so be it.
It seems if the rumour mill is true, it would appear evident that the club believe that only former Tigers are "the right ones". The fact that they are not necessarily the best ones to improve the squad and help us move forwards is my biggest concern.
When did the Du Preez brothers, Calum Chick, Noel Reid and Sam Carter play for us? I mean, I know I forgot about Fonau but still.

Another load of journeymen mentioned. Heaven help us. If Green is any good, why are Deano and Wells letting him go..

Tom Varndell being mentioned by the Mail as a possible injury dispensation for Veainu. Reportedly being released by his ProD2 club in France.
As for Calum Green, as Smurph said at the fans forum, he left because at the time he was nowhere near good enough for 1st XV rugby at Tigers. Several years later he’s developed in his time at Leeds and Falcons. If he comes back, great.
I am 99% certain that I saw Varndell outside the ground after the Quins game.
As journeymen go he’s got quite a good try scoring record!

No where in the text you've quoted does it suggest anyone is a journeyman.
Actually I take back including Varndell as a journeyman. Letting him go was one of the most stupid decisions ever transacted at Welford Road.
Ok he wasnt the best in defence, but he was better than Alesana....
So we are getting an out and out winger to cover our first choice FB? on yesterday's showing just keep Worth there and Holmes to cover him if need be,May can play there too. Unless Murphy doesn't trust Thompstone,Holmes,Olowefella and Aspland-Robinson when May is away?!

Yes - thought Worth impressed yesterday.

Worth was very good,May was quiet but I liked the balance of the back 3. I'm still gonna remind everyone that Holmes runs the best lines since a prime Chris Ashton

Varndell is a yard and a half slower than he was, and his defence is as poor as ever - lots of waving for other people to stop the arrack, whilst he keeps his knees clean.
Blake did well, and will be an improvement on Deacs.

Agreed with Worth, been taking his time to settle in the team. But that was his most assured performance at fullback, very solid.
Hopefully with a bit more confidence we’ll see him attack the gainline more and utilise his good handling ability.
Let two balls bounce and one of which he completely missed near the touch line and was a miracle it did not lead to conceding a try.
