Alastair Eykyn has tweeted that charges are said to include common assault, larceny, assault on police, resisting arrest and being disorderly on licensed premises.

If there is any truth in that it’s goodbye to England and could be looking at a spell as a guest of her majesty

I actually find it all quite sad.

He's a fantastic talent but he just can't seem to resist pushing the self-destruct button.

To me it seems there's a pretty clear common denominator in all his off-field woes. I'm definitely making excuses for him but I really think the guy might need some help (if he's not already).

That is a shame. I was looking forward to Ford spending more time at Tigers this year and building some continunity with Toomua, Eastmond,Tuilagi et al.....on the basis he would not be needed as back up FH for England with OF in the squad.

Also a shame for Cipriani.....others have said it all.

"England rugby international Danny Cipriani has been fined £2,000 after an assault in a Jersey nightclub.

The Gloucester player pleaded guilty to common assault and resisting arrest and was ordered to pay £250 compensation to a woman police officer.

Three other charges - assault on police, larceny and being disorderly on licensed premises - were dropped."
