European fixtures announcement

Post by rdracup »

.... should be by August 7. Pro14 are due out tomorrow (Tue 24) and EPC Rugby said fixtures would be out within 2 weeks of final domestic fixture announcement (Top 14 was out some weeks ago).

I trust we will get date and kick off time, not just weekend of with details to follow. Of course R5/6 kick off dates and times won’t be available until about 2 mins before the first game (OK 2 weeks) but it was forever thus.

Expect R92 will be the December double header and also guessing we will have a Friday night R1 opener in Belfast. However we will know soon enough.

After such a hard season at the cutting edge of Rugby administration it is clear that the staff at EPC Rugby need an extended summer break, ( even longer then the internationals who are now back with their clubs). Does anyone know when they will be returning to work when, presumably, they might announce the European Rugby fixtures - (they kick off in just 9 weeks).

Plenty of similar comments to the Champions Cup twitter account today in reply to their 24th July tweet that, "After the announcement of the @PRO14Official fixtures, we expect to be in a position to announce the Pool Stage fixtures in around two weeks time."

No response from the CC account to any of them.
One person suggesting they'd heard it 'might' be Monday.

So basically, no idea!!

No, please not Friday nights. I have to take a half day off work to get up in time, and then I don't get home until 1am.
