Here’s hoping! If they both smash it next season it means Tigers will be getting back to somewhere being their best.

We saw what happened without Genge
As we have ZERO replacement for him as we stand, unless the Board invest in like for like, we wont be at the races.
Exeter will tell us everything in the season's first 80 minutes

No they won't,hardly anyone will go to SP and do well let alone win. The home game against Newcastle will tell me what I need to know.

I still think someone else should still be captain. Toomua, Bateman or O’Connor I think could be suitable.

Agreed! There’s no point in Youngs being captain when he isn’t even the best hooker at the club and will be rotated with TPN. For me O’Connor should be captain, was captain at his old club and for me is normally our best player when on the field.

I mean didn’t do too badly without Genge last season IMO.

Bateman certainly stood up.

Exactly, losing Genge is a blow. But we have Bateman and Gigena, both who are more than capabale props and won’t let us down.

Gigena looks like he has potential but as it stands we don't really know whether he's going to be a success or not. His Argentina caps came against international minnows.

If we can get another prop in that can prop both sides that would be better. If Bateman gets injured we've got Gigena and Hills. That's far from ideal.

Heyes is our 19 year old tighthead, big and powerful played England under 20s at the JWC and looked good but needs to work his technique.

Hills has been in the development squad for a few years. Was highly rated a few years back but has been blighted by some pretty awful injuries. Came off the bench a bit in the LV last season, didn't look convincing but he seems to have been retained so we must see something in him.

Thanks! I'm familiar with Heyes but for some reason Hills has escaped me

If someone else is going to be captain, it will be George Ford.
