What about Ryan? The Tahs are through to the knockout stages and have a good chance Saturday but won't progress any further than that unless the Saders or Lions lose at home. Are we waiting for the season to be over? Regardless he needs a few weeks off anyway.

Honestly outside that one rugby paper thing I’ve heard nothing about him coming to us.

I wouldn’t say he couldn’t scrummage- he’s been capped 50 times for Fiji and certainly looked pretty decent at Nottingham- he was a huge loss to us. Unless Northampton have beaten the ability to scrummage out of him I would say he could scrummage when he left us!

If you look at videos of him on Youtube he was a decent scrummager under the old rules but has struggled since then.

Well if there is, it'll give the many hand-wringers on here the opportunity for a Wallowing Wednesday :smt002

I heard about Voss a while ago.

Haven't heard the Mapapalangi one though.

Would make perfect sense, with our backrowers next he season he would more than likely be 3rd choice 6 or 8. Not really any space for him to get game time with the seniors and we are stacked in the backrow for the development team. If we were hit by injuries we could recall him.

https://www.leicestertigers.com/news/du ... er-surgery

Genge (Knee) and Kitch (Hip) rehabilitating from summer surgery.

Tigers head coach Matt O’Connor said: “Gengey has had the operation and everything went well from that point of view. He’s well into his rehab work now and then he’ll start fitness work and building up to play again.

"But he will miss the first phase of the season and we're probably looking at him playing again in the new year at this stage. But he's working hard on his recovery and will be god to go when he comes through that rehab.

Whilst 'New Year' is frustrating I hope we don't rush him back.

O’Connor also confirmed that Graham Kitchener had surgery on a hip problem during the summer.

“Kitch carried a bit of an issue in his hip for a while but he's had that repaired and we're looking to get him over the line in time for the first round of the new season,” added the Tigers head coach.

Might explain why he wasn't firing on all cylinders. Hopefully back in time for Exeter away.
