Gallagher Premiership Rugby?

Re: Gallagher Premiership Rugby?
Won’t be Saints as it’s too early to have a high profile game, I actually want Worcester as our loss to them last year was one of the worst performances I have ever witnessed, yes we did rectify that with an emphatic away victory but still I want to see us play the Warriors. Their backline is scintillating but we’ve taken away from their pack despite the signing of big Michael Fatialofa. Anyone one else agree?

Yes missed it and never heard of them before now. Yanks eh? Next I guess coaches coming on with drinks every 10 minutes will become de rigeur so they can cut to the ads, a la NFL?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.
Re: Gallagher Premiership Rugby?
Do you mean the London double header? Not the Clash, no point in having a London double header when there is only one London club.
God created rugby so footballers have heros too
Re: Gallagher Premiership Rugby?
Don't know about the first game but i'm getting married on the Sept 8th so naturally that'll be Saints at home
Re: Gallagher Premiership Rugby?
I think there are 2 London clubs - Quins and Sarries - though one of them might be South African I suppose. But no doubler header without bring in two teams from the provinces - hopefully not us.
Does anyone know if the new Premiership Cup is also sponsored by the large American insurance company and if so will we get those fixtures today too. Obviously if it is not sponsored by them then they won’t dilute their big day today.

Ellis9 is often disparaged on here but this time I think he may know something? Watsonjm congratulations on your wedding plans, I hear the South West is a great place for a honeymoon.

So Exeter or Bristol second weekend.
Newcastle at home would be interesting!

Re: Gallagher Premiership Rugby?
We have aa good second half of the season run IMO.
International period games
16th Nov - Glous (A) AI's
25th Nov - Sarries (H) AI's
16th Feb - Saracens (A) 6N's .
23rd Feb - Worcester (A) 6N's
2nd Mar - Wasps (H) 6N's
9th Mar - Sale (A) 6N's
23rd Mar - Saints (H) 6N's
Not a bad run.

Yeah agreed. Not the easiest of starts with Exeter away first, then Wasps away third match. However, second half the season seems much better, ready for the typical Tigers run in.

Exeter have only won 1 opening game in the last 5 years against Welsh, BUT this is their first home opener in 5 years.
Good time of year to play Wasps away though, hopefully they are still finding their feet with Cips gone and Sopoaga/Gopperth combo not getting too much game time together (LS isn't even at Wasps yet due to super rugby).

The chorus of MoC out could be early with that start. I'll go for 5 points from opening 3 games.
