Ashton to Sale

Post by Ian Cant »

Sorry to hear Ashton has had to come home due to family reasons. Hope things improve whatever the situation. Sale will have a pretty decent team next season. But, so will we.

If Sale spent as much on their forwards as they do their wingers, then they would be a very good team.

You mean one of our academy prospects who apparently we should have kept?

He isn't good enough to get in the Sale team.

Oh Paolo ODOGWU the Academy / development winger that compared himself to Christian Wade, saw the grass in Sale greener and left to adorn the benches. I was always told to beware of "things in Sales" they are often not what you expect!! and Odogwu has been found out hence the inclusion of other wingers. Many criticised Tigers for letting him go but for me we had better wingers than him last season and the prospect of Jordan Olowofela and others shows the grass in Sale is not greener but might be scorched earth with their incomers as he still appears on their website.

Come on LE18 it states Odogwu is still on the Sale team website - "but might be scorched earth with their incomers as he still appears on their website." :smt004

I think I heard a team boasting about a stellar back line last season......and then look what happened?.......ho-hum!

I think we are all mildly sceptical about next season. We have two weak links, MOC and injuries and playbook, ah we have three weak links..................etc

Back to the Ashton thread:
The real question is: Now that he is back in England, will he be back in the England squad?

Of course! That's the real reason he's come back. He couldn't get in the England squad so moved to France and now Jones has had a quiet word in his ear, he's come back to England to play for England.

May and Ashton I would have as the wingers on current form for the AI.
