Ashton to Sale
Sorry to hear Ashton has had to come home due to family reasons. Hope things improve whatever the situation. Sale will have a pretty decent team next season. But, so will we.
Re: Ashton to Sale
If Sale spent as much on their forwards as they do their wingers, then they would be a very good team.
Re: Ashton to Sale
What happened to Odogue? apologies for spelling.
Re: Ashton to Sale
Yes, where is he now?
Re: Ashton to Sale
Oh Paolo ODOGWU the Academy / development winger that compared himself to Christian Wade, saw the grass in Sale greener and left to adorn the benches. I was always told to beware of "things in Sales" they are often not what you expect!! and Odogwu has been found out hence the inclusion of other wingers. Many criticised Tigers for letting him go but for me we had better wingers than him last season and the prospect of Jordan Olowofela and others shows the grass in Sale is not greener but might be scorched earth with their incomers as he still appears on their website.

Re: Ashton to Sale
Come on LE18 it states Odogwu is still on the Sale team website - "but might be scorched earth with their incomers as he still appears on their website."
To the world you may be just one person.
But to that one person you may be the world!

many thanks Angus, I like to delegate.
Re: Ashton to Sale
I think I heard a team boasting about a stellar back line last season......and then look what happened?.......ho-hum!

Finished outside the playoffs and broke a load of unwanted records didn't they Dai?
Re: Ashton to Sale
I think we are all mildly sceptical about next season. We have two weak links, MOC and injuries and playbook, ah we have three weak links..................etc

The real question is: Now that he is back in England, will he be back in the England squad?

Re: Ashton to Sale
Of course! That's the real reason he's come back. He couldn't get in the England squad so moved to France and now Jones has had a quiet word in his ear, he's come back to England to play for England.Hinckley Bob wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 11:29 am Back to the Ashton thread:

May and Ashton I would have as the wingers on current form for the AI.ellis9 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 10, 2018 11:48 amOf course! That's the real reason he's come back.
