Billy Burns has signed a 2 year deal with Ulster, he’s looking to play for Ireland, as he’s Irish qualified apparently, I can’t blame him for leaving Gloucester after they signed Cipriani it was always going to limit his game time.

^^ Just goes to show that there are still deals to be done, or yet to be announced.

Am I the only one who doesn’t rate Billy Burns at all, he’s so much more flakey than his brother yet without the flair.

Bit harsh kept Owen Williams out last season and big boots to fill in Ulster. Guess we’ll see soon enough

There was a lot more to the OW saga than simply Burns' form.

Utterly not in Ackermans favour, same as Moriarty, though not sure it is national prejudice.

Shame we can't tempt him back or be able to afford him, suggest he might go back over the"bridge" soon.
Always rated him better than Burns Snr.

Personally think having him back would immeasurably strengthen the squad, as a solid 10/12 with a proper boot.

He'd go elsewhere, especially Tigers, for less.

Just read that Chiefs have 24 full time staff just in their academy set up!! They've certainly got that part of the world cornered and how's anyone suppsed to live with that?!

Tigers have quite a lot of academy staff.
I assume this includes all the DPP staff etc, as 24 coaches just in the main coaching clock seems pretty unnecessary.

All teams have lots of extra FT staff e.g. community, academy etc. Chiefs do have the SW sewn up though, with a uncle/nephew relationship with Pirates.
