Jacques van rooyen signs for Bath to cover Obano injury - seems a solid signing - perhaps we could have done with him to cover Genge?
Maybe it was done before we knew how bad Genge's injury was?

Perhaps we could have done with him full stop. Covers both sides, experienced and seems decent at the scrum.
Seems a good signing for Bath who were fairly average at the scrum last season. I presume he'll play tighthead where Bath are a little light with only Henry Thomas as a qualify option at loosehead they have Catt and Paz (Argentina international).
Marx has only committed to the Lion's until after the WC. That's where the Toomua money should be going,a world class hooker who is probably the world's best with I believe 28,yes 28 turnovers this season! He surely must be looked at!

He will but doubt we could afford him.
Toomua was on like £325K ish, when you consider how much Beale, Le Roux and Piutau can get Marx will be in that range easily.

Yes but, what's he won in 2017 - apart from a number of awards for the Lions including Super Rugby Player of the Year, Supporters Player of the Year, Players Player of the Year and Most Valued Player of the Year?
