Crikey, at this rate, we will be playing Nottingham soon unless we start buying stars instead of journeymen... for the back 5 , that is....and centres-------------and scrum half--and full back------------and replacement top notch 10.....

Not sure Irish would gamble with Jackson to be honest, but we’ll see.

If you actually get so wound up by rumours, I’d suggest leaving the forum immediately in sake of your health!

Exiles have been linked with Priestland and Paddy Jackson as well.

Myler retiring? Brophy-Clews on the move?
The Fijians have already joined. The Fijian 10 also plays 15.

Myler will be 35 by the start of next season so it might be a bit much to play a full season.

I think Brophy-Clewes also plays a bit at 12 so there could be room for another 10, particularly a international class one. Then again Bath could do with another 10 so Brophy-Clewes could be promoted out of the Bath academy...

I know, sorry didn’t make that clear in the original post.

Rumour that Sale are trying their luck with Launchbury and offering him some sizeable wedge. Some much for the CVC money being invested in infrastructure and player development.

They have, allegedly, £2m of cap space already

When you look at their squad it just beggars belief how much we must be paying for some very average players... :smt017

Always thought in some areas our squad is too bloated with quantity rather than quality. No way do we need that many hookers or backrowers!

I knew they had a smaller squad, didn't realise it was so much smaller thanks RB.

I still stand by my point comparing our squad with most of the premiership...the people doing the deals are not doing a good job that is for sure (not that they are actually accountable so oh well)

Our lack of a top 8 for example for the best part of a decade now since Corry retired is just beyond me :smt017

Are we not down to our 4th and 5th choice hookers this week? TPN out, Youngs out and Kerr away with Scotland. It's a good job we have 5 hookers.

it's the same in the back 3 too, May away with England, Veianu out, Holmes away, Thompstone out, Tait out

Olowofela, Aspland-Robinson and Worth are pretty much the last 3 standing and available.

SH if Harrison isn't back we only have Ben White
