New kits for next season

Post by MJB »

“As we look towards a new season with our ‘stronger in stripes’ message, we hope the fans are proud of this season’s iconic green, white and red jersey as well as our new look away kit, which has been influenced by the club’s famous run-out music at Welford Road.”

Does this mean we can look forward to seeing a purple away kit next season?

Have I missed something? Have we seen pictures of the new kits? Presumably not the away kit based on the OP.

With the music being "Smoke on the Water", are we going to get another insipid silver/grey/titanium/platinum affair like 7-8 (ish) seasons ago. It wasn't very popular IIRC.

The Kits have been shown to some at a fans forum but it will be released in July.

I think we're hoping for a more (Deep) purplish hue!

We can't really have red green and white stripes for our alternate kit can we?!

Why not? Would it clash with any other clubs' shirts?
Call me old fashioned, if you wish, but I can't really see the need for an "alternative kit".
Are there any clubs in the Premiership whose shirts are similar?

All clubs utilise alternate shirts, Wasps and Saracens had the same design just different colours.

We do clash somewhat with Saints, I think its mandatory to have a change strip anyway now isn't it?
