Tudor Thomas RIP
Hearing that Tudor Thomas has passed away overnight.
He was the voice at Welford Road when I started watching Tigers.
A true legend.
RIP TT

Re: Tudor Thomas RIP
Very sad to hear this. Tudor was the Voice of the Tigers for a long time and I was sorry when he was replaced as the match day announcer - always brought a smile to my face.
RIP Tudor.
RIP Tudor.

Re: Tudor Thomas RIP
A very sad day. On many matchdays I would bump into Tudor for a chat. A true gentleman and the voice of Welford Road in the amateur days. Thoughts are with all his family at this time. RIP Tudor.

Re: Tudor Thomas RIP
Others will recall better than I. But was his last official game against Worcester in the cup, just before Christmas one year. When Worcester were in the championship? Mnamindi Ezulike played and I think the announcement went "And the player coming off is being replaced by the player going on!"
Plus he greeted my colleagues from Swansea, pre Ospreys, in Welsh. Went down well that.
Fond memories from back in the day. Cheers Tudor. RIP. Saddened to hear of your passing.

I have both tears of sadness and laughter when I remember him. My father and I missed him when he retired. Whenever we saw a tricky name to pronounce we would say, that's one for Tudor... RIP lovely man.

I am on holiday in France at the moment, so sorry to hear that my friend Tudor has passed away, love and condolences to Barbara. I played in the match when I believe Tudor scored his first and possibly only try in aTigers shirt playing for the Swifts against Birstall. The man was a legend of the Tigers and a true gentleman who will be sadly missed.

A sad loss, many happy memories of a faithful servant to the club.
Hopefully the spirit of Tudor will live on in these days of a money driven business, we all want success but at what cost? Hopefully not the loss of everything that Tudor stood for.
Condolences to all his family.
