I see that Premiership Rugby have named Dean Richards as "Top Coach" for 2018 and Niki Goneva as "Top Player" with Jamie Gibson among the contenders. The only relief is that Thomas the Tank has been winding down towards his retirement other wise demand for blood pressure tablets among some of our posters would have soared!
My only (semi-serious) question - do posters on this site think these awards have any real importance? For example, do you remember who "won" last year's awards (I don't!)

I tend to take no notice ever since Charles Piatau was ripping it up for Wasps and Alex Goode farcically got POTS!

They are the play thing of the BT commentary team and summarisers.
2 of the major awards have gone to a side that is likely not to win anything this season and were 1 loss away from not making the play offs
