Goode jumped at the chance to rant on Leicester, always does these days. He's a paid Wasps ambassador so one could think he's trying to distract from the many negative headlines Wasps are getting both on and off the pitch.

Burns is not a better player than George. He might show glimpses but throughout a season id pick Ford everytime. His average game is better and his ceiling is higher.

Yes we are overpaying Ford though if its true its 600K +

Swear I heard that Ford was on 450k from Tigers. Manu was on 425k, could be wrong. 600k is way off.

Always think Hamilton looks back fondly on his time at Tigers. Goode is just bitter and twisted who thinks too much of himself. If you listened to him talk you would think he was England’s best ever fly half. Nowhere near Ford’s level.

He loves stabbing Tigers in the back now he’s in the media, guess he feels he was harshly treated when he was with us.

Yeah I believe the Ford 450K, Manu 425 figures are more accurate. Toomua is marquee isn't he?

Leicestertinytiger & Tiger93; just so that everyone knows, Fordy was offered 650k to go elsewhere. Turned it down to come to Tigers for considerably less.

I’d heard that too. I think Sale was one of them who went in with big money to try and get him to sign.

All those people on this board who give Ford loads of grief about his form forget that he did turn down a big pay rise to come back to us. No doubt it will all come good next season.

He was very defensive after the Daily Mail "discontent" article. Despite the fact one of the biggest auditors in the world have washed their hands of the club's business, the are definitely no financial probable s at Wasps.

Sometimes when you live off a legacy you then to forget the future, just as the Tigers have done over the years. The interview was IMO off the mark in some cases but justifiable in others. Andy and Jim are entitled to their opinions? It is now the time for the Tigers BoD to put it right
