Apparently former Tigers academy player James Martin has been selected for North Harbour Provincial team.

Was ripping it up for Hinckley before going down to NZ.

I thought he was a tighthead primarily didn’t see anywhere that he can scrum on both sides

Had a quick look at comments in the Roar - several people extolling his virtues at LH, so.......maybe he can do both?
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

I suppose it would make sense for one of the junior 9s, either Simmons or White, to go the the Championship for regular game time.

Except that Bristol are in the Premiership next season. Given that they would be in direct competition with us would the loaned player get much game time? I'm not sure they would unless there are injuries or serious loss of form to their own nines.

Apparently at a recent Bedford Blues AGM it was mentioned that a Tigers player will be going on season long loan to them for next season, any ideas who?
IIRC, Bedford Blues are quite firmly rooted in the Championship next season. :smt002

Apologies. Don't know where Bristol idea came from. A clear case of brain fade. Senility must be setting in.

Was ripping it up for Hinckley before going down to NZ.
I saw this lad score a lovely try against Huddersfield, head up and cutting through midfield with some lovely footwork and finished with a real turn of pace to beat the quicker men, it was a game changer of a try as up until that point it was a closely fought contest with only a couple of points in it, quality player.

Pretty sure he is still on tigers radar aswell.

Would imagine he will be looking at a Prem or Champ club when he returns.
