Mrs G called Stains, Falcons right, and is saying we'll be lucky to sniff a bonus point.
And if you think I'm anti-MOC, you should hear her opinion!!
Tigers fandom diminished a lot for her after Cockers went, but it is more the way the game has, in her words, become both soft and a complete mess.

Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95

The pressure is on Sale knowing that they have to get something from today to have any chance of Champions Cup rugby next season

I'll be watching the Army v Navy today with an eye on scores elsewhere.
I can't see Sale getting a 5-0 points score against Leicester and Gloucester beating Sarries all happening, but what will be will be.
There is only one team from that bunch who will seriously be in contention for next seasons Champions Cup anyway, the rest are just making a competition of it!

For those pro-Cockers supporters, I think him going to Toulon and to Edinburgh has given him a new chance to start afresh in different environments which has been very beneficial. Same to Deano, if Bloodgate hadn’t of happened, Harlequins wouldn’t be sitting in 10th with the world’s worst injury list.

I still think that we wouldn’t have been any better with either in charge today without having left Tigers first

I'am surprised no one has mentioned where is Thompstone? is he injured, disillusioned or going?
I feel against a fast Sale side with Yarde but no Salmonella (still banned) we should have played either Olowofela or Hardwick. So pleased that Holmes has again been given a chance.

Manu looking more like his old self.

Great to see Holmes scoring, doesn't play nearly often enough.

Keep hold of the ball!!!!! Lots of good things at the scrum ruined by not being able to keep the ball for more than a phase before knocking it on!

Ford needs a kicking coach. 6 relatively straightforward points missed.

I acknowledge that those kicks were tough but those 6 points could be crucial imo

Absolutely my thoughts. I wish we would stop trying the unnecessary passes/offloads too, many of the knock-ons seem to be coming from those.

Holmes is justifying why he should start ahead of Thompstone.

The difference it makes when you have a referee who knows what he's doing. A sadly rare occurrence in the AP these days.
