That would mean playing off 10 and letting Toomua play the Brad Barritt role. Possible? That's tempering Matt's natural playmaking though.

Absolutely JP14 two world class players that if the game plan is right can and should be able to play together.
Happens with Foley and Beale and they now have a long pre season to sort it out

Matt is a natural rugby player.
Great passer
Very good carrier (As he showed v Saints)
Great Defender
Great kicker out of hand.

He should be able to play most styles.

Really we need Ford to carry flat with Toomua slightly deeper and have Holmes being the main carrier off ford since he runs though lines to perfection and the forward carriers, with Manu and May more wide for Toomua, that's my very simple with no coaching experience two cents.

The Brumbies worked with lealiifano and Toomua 10/12 which is IMO very similar to a Ford and Toomua 10/12 we just need the rest of the players to be on the same wavelength as Ford when he does play flat like today.

Yes RB and use Toomua and Manu as decoy runners with Holmes going around the back. Holmes works off 9 too,he absolutely has to play.

Ford and Toomua could work if moc changes the game plan but given how stubborn he is that seems unlikely.

Whenever they have played together this season literally all we do is play side to side. Ford sits deep and almost everything goes out the back to Toomua. If we're gonna play like that doesn't make much difference having Joe Ford or George Ford

We're glad our pessimism proven wrong, but what a trashed season leaving us so close but definitely not up to playoffs

Holmes absolutely has to play more often, runs some lovely lines, great under the high ball and made a brilliant defensive read today to save a certain try. I like Thompstone and Malouf a lot but Jonah offers more of an all round game in my opinion.
I saw Marika Vunibaka play

No,our depriving of Sale points and Sarries the same of Gloc got them through the back door. We got ourselves in because we were in control of our own destiny,Bath wernt and were relying on other teams.

Indeed, didn't cost us in the end though, fortunately. In cold light of day I guess it's difficult to keep up with him to latch onto his offloads.
