Forget the weather! Factor in the following:- Luke Pearce is sir, Wigglesworth is running one of the lines, and Terheege (who likes a bit of an interventionist role) is TMO.
Give blood, play rugby!!

Tough first half, seem to have the upper hand in the scrum and BOC is a causing havoc at the breakdown but man alive the lineout is a mess and some of one out running lines are laboured. We had real fizz a few weeks ago, with the forwards leading the charge but that's sadly missing.

Lets see how we start the 2nd half

Got more of a Bath feeling about this than a Saints.

Should come on strong in the second half.

Umm a few wrong results throughout the season, missed bonus points, all cost us, very disappointed, we were out muscled as i feared. :smt022

Well played Newcastle but Pearce won that for them in the end :smt013
No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

"Try yes or no."

- Not the last man in the previous ruck
- No conclusive evidence of grounding
- Knees on the floor before taking another go

"I can't see any reason not to award the try" (new question, new answer).

The one we had to win. Sad sad day for the club.

Toomua goes off and defensively we go to pot. Not entirely sure it was the best decision to change the props either.

Easy to criticise after the event of course and the ref was “interesting” in his interpretation of various laws throughout the game.

It wasn't and lost us the game :smt009
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

The game is now decided by a bunch of primadonnas with microphones and cameras. Goodbye rugby. I once knew you well.

I've done with it.

New slant on "Forwards win the game backs decide by how many" Should now be "Ref decides who wins and TMO by how many"

Reap what you sow. Remember? I told you when he came in that MOC would destroy this club and boy was I right. That's some sort of set of records he's broke! Get him out now!!!
