As things seem to have gone downhill at the Saints (Weep,Weep!) might there be room for Gibbo back at Welford road? :smt007

Assume you’ve missed the signings of Denton and Thompson

I wish the club had as well.

I don’t get people complaining about the Thompson signing. He was by far the best of their back row on Sunday, a really strong ball carrier who can play any where across the back row.

I’ll take him over Gibson any day of the week

Why would we ever want him back?

Agreed. Thomas Young and Willis get all the plaudits in that Wasps back row, simply because they're younger. Thompson and Denton, along with the sheer work rate of Kalamafoni and the breakdown nouse and ball handling skills of B O'Connor give us some really exciting options in the back row next season.

And now Barrow has left Stains ... there are times when you have to wonder is it you, not them.

No inside information on the enemy’s forum, he could go to Bristol though, they need him!

I was disappointed to see him leave, but this is a strange one - leaving mid-season with no news on where he might be off to.
Can't remember the timing of him agreeing to go to Saints and when Boyd was appointed - was he a Malinder signing?
Potential not realised - yet. Maybe he'll end up back at Newcastle (as Green's replacement?).

He could not get a start at Saints, he did start in the MM 'cup for them, scored, but was subbed shortly afterwards, his face didn't seem to fit!
