Pleased to see Malouf rather than Joe Ford on the bench - Toomua and Harrison cover 10. Agree that we have the better bench - just. I think a lot will depend on Luke Hamilton.

Really looking forward to this match.!! The last home match I went to was Sarries at Christmas so a win would be good especially as Falcons may well put Saints to the sword!

Here is what Will Greenwood thinks about him in today’s Labourgraph a propos his (WG’s) selection for the SA tour -
“7. Brendon O'Connor (Leicester)

This is a close call between O’Connor and the two excellent Curry brothers. Ben has been on fire for Sale while Tom has been injured but O’Connor - who learnt his rugby in New Zealand and qualifies for England through his grandmother - just edges it for me. He took Saracens to the cleaners pretty much on his own at Allianz Park and is a brilliant breakdown operator who in my view is the best openside in the country. Sam Underhill should go to show he can play with ball in hand, while I would also give Ben Earl of Saracens a seat on the plane.”

Something to do with his Ribs according to Ben Kay on Rugby Tonight I heard
I thought at the time that it was fracture to ribs and/or sternum from the way he was having some difficulties breathing

Agreed. I'd feel a lot more confident with BO'C in the side or Evans. It's a strong looking line up but that back row looks a bit light and that worries me.

I'm absolutely desperate to see us beat Wasps. They've had a real hoodoo over us for a few seasons and I'd love to see us put one over them for once tomorrow.

Bad feeling about today, our defense has come on leaps and bounds off multi phase play but Wasps are just too good off first phase,we have to be wide awake from minute one, can't be a slow start.

A try from a line out, a missed penalty from bang in front, a try 'open goal' butchered and May and Manu off injured. And we're only 11 minutes in.

Wow. Ford misses a kick in front of the posts, then Tigers butcher a 4 on 1 (and get turned over). Shame, although still 7-0.

Tuilagi and May both off injured. Yikes.

Murphy just said Manu coming off was precautionary, and described it as a "bang"
