SF, Brive and Agen are clubs with tradition going down the years and at least one of 'em will go down.

Incidentally, two other big clubs of bygone days, Dax and Narbonne, are propping up ProD2 and will play in Fédérale 1 next season and will play the likes of Bourgoin and Tarbes.

French Rugby literally only has Toulouse as a ''regular''-------------and of course our blood brothers ( apart from one blip) Stade....

Compared to the English League,----------- Beziers Biarritz Perpignan Dax Bourgoin Narbonne Colomiers Tarbes Montoban have all disappeared completely from French top flight rugby...

So Tigers and their history are literally unique...

The current ProD2 standings are with just one game to play before play-offs :

Perpignan 92 points
Montauban 92
Grenoble 84
Mont-de-Marsan 83
Béziers 79
Biarritz 75
Nevers 69
Bayonne 68
Colomiers 64
Vannes 62
Massy 59
Soyaux Angoulême 59
Aurillac 56
Carcassonne 53
Dax 42
Narbonne 31

The first team is automatically promoted (either Perpignan or Montauban) and there'll be play-offs between the next four to decide the second promotion place.
Some of you may not have heard of some of these teams, Nevers, Vannes, Massy, for example who have apparently benefited from wealthy sponsors. The old'uns among you may recognise Angoulême, for whom the late Maurice Colclough - England and Lions(2 tours) played.
