Yet another adminisitrive error from Wasps has seen them given a suspended fine.
They played 3 more loaned players than allowed in the AW Cup.
"In addition, a case against Wasps regarding a breach of Anglo-Welsh Cup Regulation 6.7 was heard on papers by Aidan O’Brien as a single judicial officer with the club’s consent.
Wasps selected and played six loan players (versus the permitted three) during its round three Anglo-Welsh Cup fixture against London Irish, on 27 January 2018.
The club was given a fine of £2,500, suspended until the conclusion of the Anglo-Welsh season 2018/19."

Do they have a counting problem, thought that was only the Ospreys
To win is not as important as playing with style!
Re: Wasps break another rule
Mistakes happen. But when a 'grass roots' team does it, it often results in a points deduction. It should be a least a similar penalty for PRL clubs which should have the resource and infrastructure to make errors of this type far less likely.
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game
Re: Wasps break another rule
Very true, my local team had points deducted over a paper mishap a couple of seasons ago.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

You'd have thought that, with clubs having academies these days, that the bigger sides wouldn't need to lean on loan players so much

National division 1 is often considered stronger than the academy league - especially for the front row - so game time there may be more valuablelonglivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2018 5:41 pm You'd have thought that, with clubs having academies these days, that the bigger sides wouldn't need to lean on loan players so much
