Congrats to Cameron Jordan and George Martin on making the England U18's squad, however I fail to see how we only manage to get 2 in the entire wider squad when our U18's are unbeaten this season :smt017

Yep should easily be more really. We beat Wasps 55-7 and they have more than us.

So from the academy we have involved in international age grade teams so far.

Might be strictly to do with the Premiership coaches involved in the U18 set up

Such a familiar ring to it........seen more than a few times, the Possibles hammer the Probables but only one or two get selected. The Probables go on to represent and get mullered.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

7 From Gloucester while Tigers only have 2.

Falcons meanwhile have 6 players in the squad.

England under 18 head coach? Falcons man John Fletcher....

Similar being said elsewhere with the U20's though, swings and roundabouts!
It goes on everywhere at all levels, no different to what and how it gets into the academies in the first place, and to a certain extent on the other end of the scale with the supposed best team in the land!

Should give them plenty of incentive in the final.

Alot of the times those players who get into the England U16/17 age grades are kept on for U18 anyway.
