Veainu article in the Mercury

Post by Sydneytiger »

Didn’t manage to get to the game today though just read the article in the Mercury about Veainu’s broken jaw and his rehab. Makes you really respect what these guys go through to play week in week out.

A top Tiger. Scott Clarke said on Wednesday he is one of the best players the club has had in terms of turning up to support various events. He is brilliant at giving of his time whenever youngsters are being coached or have festivals. Great to watch and gives his all. A real positive attitude from TV.

When he makes an error, you don't seem him wearing a stupid ear to ear grin. It hurts him, and it shows.
Something that another, probably much more highly paid player, needs to adopt.
