Let's hope he performs better than our recent Scottish ex-international for us.
Oh that one with a Scottish milkman! Big Jim Hamilton then. :smt043

Not sure if you're referring to Luke Hamilton or not, but, for me at least, he's put in decent performances each time he's played for us since he came in as a relative unknown from France. If the rumours of him moving on are true, I'd be sorry to see him leave to be honest.

Only here to fill up the numbers, now with Gigena I’m surprised Traynor hasn’t been booted off already

Not even given a chance to prove otherwise.
It's not like he's been playing in Japan for 6 years and no-one has seen him play though is it? I think he's not good enough because I've watched him be one-dimensional for an average Scotland team, and seen that he's currently part of a mediocre Worcester team after not making the cut at Bath.

But maybe Worcester are peers and rivals now?
So who would you sign if were in charge?
I know a lot of people would disagree with this based on his personality, but James Haskell would be top of my list of "who is definitely available" (and I don't know who isn't, but these days contracts don't exactly seem iron clad...) .

I know he isn't a number 8 but by every account going, he is an excellent (/incredible) trainer with a brilliant mentality - and I feel that people complaining about his "outside interests" are off the mark (no-one ever complained about OTY's or White's farming - and the latter missed a World Cup!). I also think that level of abrasiveness is missing from the team at the moment.

I also, bluntly, feel it's unlikely we'd lose Haskell to international duty - he's behind Hughes, Robshaw, Vunipola, Simmonds, Underhill, Itoje (assuming Lawes/Launch at lock) and maybe a fully fit Curry - and Jones seems like he's more likely to have someone else establish themselves than keep going back to Haskell.

So, is that why EJ has picked him in his squad for this weekends game? :smt017

Confirmed in a BBC article that he has signed a 3 year deal with Tigers.

Also rumours still circulating that Haskell is on the cards as going Tigers, Saints or Worcester.
