Similarly, what about Mapaplangi?
Is he injured or not being selected?

So I did a bit of a spreadsheet to ascertain what would happen based on results. These are the points from matches I decided on (I know I've got Tigers winning all #optimistic) which would leave the top 6 as ...

Exeter 82
Saracens 75
Tigers 68
Wasps 67
Newcastle 67
Gloucester 61

If you'd like tender some other permutations on wins, please do.

Round 18
Bath 1 Exeter 4
London Irish 0 Gloucester 5
Sale 4 Worcester 1
Saracens 4 Quins 1
Newcastle 5 Saints 0
Tigers 4 Wasps 1

Round 19
Sale 4 Wasps 1
Bath 1 Tigers 4
Saints 0 Saracens 5
Quins 5 London Irish 1
Worcester 1 Newcastle 4
Exeter 4 Gloucester 1

Round 20
Newcastle 4 Sale 1
Gloucester 4 Quins 0
Tigers 5 Saints 0
Wasps 5 Worcester 1
London Irish 0 Exeter 5
Saracens 4 Bath 1

Round 21
Tigers 4 Newcastle 0
Exeter 4 Sale 0
Gloucester 4 Bath 1
Worcester 1 Quins 4
London Irish 0 Saracens 5
Wasps 5 Saints 0

Round 22
Bath 5 London Irish 0
Quins 1 Exeter 4
Newcastle 4 Wasps 1
Saints 4 Worcester 0
Sale 1 Tigers 4
Saracens 4 Gloucester 1

IMO the big test in that is the first game v Wasps. Win that and we might just do the rest of them, with a massive game v Newcastle in the second last week.

A win v Wasps and honestly the Team should be looking at reaching for a Top 2 spot.

We're on 47 league points, Wasps on 54, Sarries on 53. For us to get a top 2 position will require us to score 7 more league points than Wasps and 6 more than Sarries, in 5 games. Ok so one game is at home vs Wasps, which makes that part of the task seem easier, but overhauling Sarries will require some big favours from Bath or Saints (!) or Gloucester.

'Win against Wasps and Top 4 should be in our sights' - now that'll give you.

Top 4 should already be in our sights though.

He has shown plenty of promise but needs to work on his carrying in the tight, when and not when to offload and build on his tackle technique

This has been done on the Final League Table thread but below is how I believe it will finish. I think we will win all of the remaining games, except for Bath, with 4 points but lose to Bath but get a losing bonus point.

1st Exeter 85
2nd Saracens 75
3rd Wasps 74
4th Tigers 64
5th Newcastle 63
6th Gloucester 59
7th Bath 55
8th Sale 47
9th Quins 42
10th Saints 36
11th Worcester 32
12th Irish 15

Well, that is a kiss of death isn't it!?

I predict the sun will come up tomorrow and that is as much as I'll commit on this one.

I don't think we have to beat Wasps as long as we get a LBP but beat Bath,we can lose one of those two games as long as we get a LBP BUT we have to beat Newcastle. That will scrape fourth imo.

Can't afford to lose any. No good 'scraping to 4th' the Tigers have to arrive there with confidence built on consistency by winning; leading to the mindset that they can beat anyone on any day and that means the playoff and the final :smt027 :smt027
