The U18's go into the lead of their Northern conference after beating Wasps 5-52.
Tigers are joint top with Wasps but are ahead on points difference and also have a game in hand over the Cov team.

Scorers from today's game where.
Freddie Steward, George Martin x2, James Whitcombe, Dave Koelman, Jack Van Poortvliet, Thom Smith and Harry Glynn.
Sam Costelow was 6 from 6 in conversions.

This follows from Tigers previous results of
v Saints (H) 31-31 T: Cameron Jordan, Will Poland, Will Yarnell, Henri Larvin, C: Sam Costelow 3/3, Jonny Law 1/1. P: Sam Costelow 1/1
V Sale (A) 6-16 T: Finlay Gibson, C: Sam Costelow, P: Sam Costelow 2/2
V Worcester (H) 42-14 T: Xander Purcell, Zack Godfrey, Luke Phoenix, George Martin, Henri Lavin, Jonny Law, C: Sam Costelow 6/6

They have to play still Newcastle Falcons and Yorkshire Carnegie U18's.

We must remember that they still won without Jordan, Yarnell, Henri Lavin and Wager who are playing for the senior team today, excellent stuff from the young guns. :smt041, there is light at the end of this tunnel

Can we please develop these players as they are the future of the club. Its obvious that we have eroded such talent in recent years to bring in high profile players with big wage tags for quick fix terms.
Glad to see U18 and Academy producing results surely this will benefit the club. :smt041 :smt038

I notice that at least 2 ex academy players helped but Tigers to the sword today! No point in having a good academy if we let them go - I assume they went under the old regime?

Umaga went for cash.
Owen was behind Evans and never really tore up trees.

Interesting that Dave Koelman the number 8 v Wasps U18 is in the Dutch U20’s squad.

When was the last time If ever we had a Dutchman in Thebes setup?

Tigers U18’s beat Yorkshire 7-36.

Which I think means we finish top of the northern conference.
