Given that he's the only one in the 23 from outside Wales, that may be a forlorn hope.RagingBull wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 11:32 am Wales U20: Cai Evans (Ospreys); Joe Goodchild (Dragons), Corey Baldwin (Scarlets), Callum Carson (Ospreys), Ryan Conbeer (Scarlets); Ben Jones (Cardiff Blues), Harri Morgan (Ospreys); Rhys Carre (Cardiff Blues), Iestyn Harris (Cardiff Blues), Sam Wainwright (RGC), Jack Pope (Bridgend), Max Williams (Dragons), Tommy Reffell (Leicester Tigers, capt), Dan Davies (Scarlets), Taine Basham (Dragons).

It is interesting to me that the club seems to be making a really big thing at the moment about the young guys coming through the academy system. I think it may have come to the powers that be, attention that this is where the strength of Tigers came from previously. We have been through some lean years and hopefully this is coming out the other side. However we have to be able to recognise the guys who are going to be good and move them through and most importantly do what we have to do to keep them. I'm starting to get a bit irked watching blokes who came through our system playing well for other teams.
It has only recently dawned on me that Hamish Watson went to Oakham school and through our academy. .. now he would be a bloke I would have liked to have seen in our team!

A great performance from the Welsh lads, Tommy Reffell played and encouraged the team well.
An excellent performance from ex Tiger Referee Frank Murphy too.
