JP14 re Ben Earl, one of the Irish locks yesterday has more Irish caps than starts for Leinster. If you’re good enough it doesn’t matter.

I did say in my team dependant on full fitness

Ahhhh, that’s actually a good point, James Ryan is a very good talent. I’m all for Earl being included in the EPS. How about Jones rotates his team every test, not to the point that it interferes with continuity but it introduces players like Earl, Mercer, Ibitoye to the international scene and it could (if successful) increase competition. But Eddie Jones mustn’t just automatically refer back to his stalwarts come autumn unlike after Argentina, they need to be playing out of their skins to get reintroduced.

Also must be a few Falcons well worth considering, Robinson, Welch, Wilson and maybe even full back Tait.
I only included Farrell because I know that he will never be dropped, but I'd rather add Henry Trinder to the centre options in his place.
If you're going on the basis of a realistic squad that Eddie Jones could pick , which you are as you say Farrell will never get dropped, you may as well leave Slater and Twelvetrees out as neither will get picked as they aren't good enough for England. Also, Cipriani won't be picked either.

If you're going on a squad that you'd pick if you were the coach, then you can leave Farrell out if that's what you think, which by the sounds of it, you would. As would I.

His form is not to his high standards at the moment but I'm sure his class will return next season when he has had a summer of rest and good pre season conditioning, class is permanent.

Well that's the difficulty, trying to predict a realistic squad that Jones could pick and a squad that I might like to see!
I do realise it's a pipe dream, several players do appear undroppable presently, it's looking very cosy.
I disagree about Slater, he is good enough!
Twelvetrees I understand your view, but I think he has improved since his last England cap and is worth a chance given how poor England have been, I also think he is a better 12 than Farrell anyway.
I also think Devoto is a better 12 than Farrell.
I'd like to see pace injected into the attack from 10 with Ford and Cipriani before Farrell, but that's just my opinion and as you say Cipriani won't be picked.

So you agree that he shouldn’t go to South Africa?

JP14, yes I agree he shouldn't go to South Africa along with all the English players who played for the Lions, they all should be given the summer off to recharge their bodies, rest and get the correct conditioning to enable them to start next season in peak fitness, look at Dan Coles, a great prop but unable to play to his maximum ability due to being overplayed by Leicester and England, I honesty think he will suffer later in life due to the amount of game time he is asked to play, the guy needs a rest.
