Ford proved in Argentina he can more than cope without farrell, and it was also his attack play that has created all of farrells tries and would have created the same space for teo outside him, as defenders are drawn to him cause of his speed, defenders aint drawn to farrell at 10 which is why he needs a big crash centre who can break the game line. This is why both england and lions play him at 12 cause they want his defence and kick game but know his attacking is limited.

Come on man, that was a Jaguares side sans a few European based Argies with a passive defence in barbarians style matches. Ford is good at that as he is a flat track bully.

It was also and england squad minus 5 lions inc a full front row and youngs and vunipola to injury, and a number of u20s and debutants, against an Argentina team that play together pretty much week in week out in super rugby.
On top of that with all the calls for farrell at 10, he was the 10 for the 2015 world cup and how did we get on, Farrell is a decent international 10 but hes no barrett or sexon. I know fords not either. I just cant see why everyone is talking like farrells suddenly going to move to 10 and start playing like one of those cause hes not hes not that player, hes not going to make something happen, hes just a pragmatic 10 who goes through the phases and kicks points, but with our back row currently i dont know how many phase we’ll get through with out the backdown being disrupted.

Scotland are so frustrating. They make brilliant breaks and then miss the simple final pass or gift points away.

Either Nigel Owens was really angry at the Welsh Disallowed Try and allowed Scotland to do what they want at the breakdown or England were incredibly poor

They had a ref today who played to the laws, Barnes was brilliant, he didn't ignore players interfering from the side unlike Owen.

Mathieu Bastareaud would make one hell of an openside flanker.

I’m honestly dumbfounded by England at the moment, France we’re good defensively but nowhere else. England lost that game rather than the French winning
