So - who's going to be our first choice No.8 and our regular FB?

whilst I'm not sure about whether Denton is an upgrade or not Hamilton is vastly overrated by some on here he is a solid player nothing more than that, his biggest skill is being a jack of all trades back rower
Denton has been one of Worcester’s best players and has won countless player of month awards for them this season.

Always gets over the gainline and has improved his defensive work rate. For me will easily be Tigers no.6 for me and better than Hamilton.

Thompson will be great off the bench as an impact player. Can also do a job as starting 8.

Would also love to keep Williams and move him to no.4. Think he could a massive job for us in the second row.

My preference is Kala,Thompson,BOC. Guy is a better lineout option and offers more link play as well as his carrying. Denton a better impact player.

Talking of Thompson...

Dallaglio on Guy Thompson: "He doesn't get the headlines of a Haskell or a Cipriani but, I tell you what, he's an astute signing for Leicester Tigers and they've not made many of those in their pack."

Either comobination of those 4 backrowers in a 23 makes for a fearsome team. It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to say that about our backrow unit.

Don't be surprised if MOC uses GT at 7 though if BOC is out stunting WE game time!

Great turnover by Thompson on time just in front of his line.

Our back row next year looks to be much stronger.

I hope not but O'Connor isn't the brightest when putting together backrows. I mean when we had Mapalangi, Hamilton and Kalamafoni with Evans I think everyone other than O'Connor knew the four players weren't in the right combination of shirts.

Any chance we could poach Cokanasiga from his move to Bath. Give us some power in the blackline.

George Kruis, Jonathan Joseph, Courtney Lawes, Nathan Hughes, Anthony Watson, Dylan Hartley and possibly Elliot Daly will miss England's three-Test series in June due to injury.

I wouldn't wish an injury on anyone - I just wish that Dan Cole could be looking forward to a similarly lengthy rest as these guys. Our squad next season would be significantly enhanced by a refreshed tight-head prop.
