Size of shirt numbers - help needed

Post by manxleigh »

Can anyone who has had their shirt printed, by the club, with a number let me know how high the digits are please. It is my Dad's 70th Birthday and I have got him a shirt but need to get the number 70 printed by a 3rd party as the club state they wont do numbers other than 1-15. If you also know the font used by the club then you get a bonus big thankyou!

Really appreciate any help you can offer.

cheers

So the club can't just use a 7 &, 0 together..... Again another shambles at the club shop. Lose money again if can't compromise. :smt017

My 2010 shirt has a 10.5 x 10.5 inch patch bearing the sponsors logo (QBE) but the numbers are 7.5 x 7.5 inch

Just about sums up the state of the club at the moment. Poor on the field and even worse off it.

Thanks Guys. I’m assuming the numbers are equally proportionate height and width? Didn’t mean to cause an issue with the club shop. Just want it to look good and not a comical homemade job. Wonder if they might send me the patch?

Thanks

It may be that the numbers are already printed on the patch to go on the shirt for 1 to 15

Just a thought, your dad will be 71 next year, are you going to update him year on year, or is he going to be 70 forever?

Why not put his name plus his old position number on?
If I did another I'd not have Griffin 12, but Griffin 69 :smt005

Lovell will do anything you want, going by the personalID thing on the website

https://www.lovell-rugby.co.uk/Rugby-Sh ... n-or-White

I've not used them for putting numbers on but I have ordered plenty of stuff from them and they're top notch.

(I've always said that the Club is missing a trick by not offering as well the traditional letters as an alternative.)
