Simmons Toomua doesn't sound as good as Harrison Ford mind.

To sum up that game, Pathetic as usual from our runners and defenders.

Oh, Tigers will ship alright. Probably about 4 tries.
Only three conceded and a losing bonus point. Next week and Worcester will be the season defining games for top 6 in my opinion.

POSTIGER wrote: Sat Feb 10, 2018 4:24 pm Don't worry everyone, I'm sure MO'C will have them working really hard on the training ground this week.

Hopefully that hard work will make up for the lack of physicality, intensity and accuracy.
That bonus-point could be crucial for European qualification and we kept Gloucester from scoring a bonus-point try, I’ll take that with a pinch of salt

24-17 LBP

Same old stuff, disjointed, errors, static with no penetration.

Brendan O'Connor was our best player by miles.

Watched it on a stream. Absolute garbage. In the 2nd half we only got into their 22 in the last 5 mins and then turned it over as usual.

Gloucester must have had 75% possession and probably more territory.

We couldn't get hold of the ball, and on the odd occasions we did we had zero penetration. Manu was awful. BOC easily our best player.

I did apologise for turning into Roly once MOC was appointed, no more however. This is awful.

Have to agree that Simmons posed more of a threat and Toomua was more effective at 10 with Owen in the center. Tuilagi and Veainu looked like they both needed a lot of game time but for me our most effective player by a mile was BOC. He was every where and eventually ran out of steam. I also thought Tate had a good game. 1 point was about right for us as we defended really well at times but didn't break the gain line often enough.

He's already responded...

"If you look at that result in isolation, it's not the end of the world."

"The work we’ve put in over the last couple of weeks will stand us in good stead for a tough couple of games over the next couple of weeks. I guarantee you it will go down to the last weekend of the season”

Well...that's alright then.
