Gigena and Cordero
Given that Cordero has been left out of his club player listing:

When are him and Gigena going to be announced as signings? Given that we are on the worst run for over 50 years, would think the club would want to give us some good news to help ease the pain.
Also has anyone heard anymore news on Mafi, seems to have gone quiet.

Re: Gigena and Cordero
This always P me off when a player's departing club announce he is leaving and going to Leicester as Cordero's club have done and we say nothing - can understand that we can't confirm that a player is coming until the ink is drying but it still P's me off
Hehehehehehehehe
Re: Gigena and Cordero
They will confirm Gigena once his visa is sorted

Re: Gigena and Cordero
Until the deal is finalised, why should Tigers announce a signing. If it fails to go through, it makes them look silly..

Could at least drop us a timeframe, as in we’re looking to bring them in this week. We could do with good news considering where the club are at.

Re: Gigena and Cordero
The Govt don’t give timeframes on confirmation of visas so Leicester can’t really state when the announcement will be made, only that it will be soon

Re: Gigena and Cordero
I think the club have done more than enough in the article. They have commented and confirmed Interest. What more can They do.
Just wish somthing could be done to put some aggression back into the team. We just turn to and are there for the taking. If we are not a couple of trys up by 20 minutes tissue weekend I can see the crowd getting frustrated and players falling apart. We miss genge, he adds the bite to our currently lame tigers.

Gigena is a good player but I must warn don’t expect him to turn up and solve everything for us, these things take time unfortunately

Re: Gigena and Cordero
Am I alone in seeing a lot of Marcus in him - facially in particular - lets hope he can play just like him as well

Anounce something already.....
Re: Gigena and Cordero
Instead of Cordero where imho we have enough cover, we need a good leader/enforcer in the second/back row. Can't we tempt someone like Kieran Read, Jerome Kaino or Sam Whitelock to come until the end of the season.

Re: Gigena and Cordero
I think Cordero would be a great signing and if everyone was fit would make the 14 Shirt. Definite upgrade over Thompstone, who hasn’t seemed to hit the heights of last season.
He can also cover fullback which we have struggled to do this season when Vieanu is out injured. Also with Tait probably leaving at the end of the season, would be a great replacement for his versatility.

Re: Gigena and Cordero
Aren't Read and Kaino still on injury recovery? Whitelock can probably do with a break. I'm not sure that 'pick a big name to come in' is a game that Tigers can play at the moment.
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game
