Re: Tigers v Exeter
Sad thing is we actually have a good squad, obviously the coaching is nowhere near good enough. Seems like an implosion in the last 10. I like MOC but someone now starts to have to take responsibility for this mess. Simply not good enough. Who appointed Mauger and now MOC aren’t up to the job alongside the other coaches bar Stanko. He’s the only one in the last few years who has shown any promise.

Since everyone else bought wisely, had a good academy system and brought in coaches with new ideas. Sadly we look rudderlessSoggypitch wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2017 4:38 pm We are quite simply a mid table team. When was that ever good enough for Leicester?
what the answer is I really don't know.

Re: Tigers v Exeter
for God's sake will they hire a :censored: forwards coach worthy of the job, whoever is doing it now clearly isn't.
the 2nd row pairing of Fitzgerald and Kitchener isn't working either, and the insistence of every play having to go through both Ford and Toomua is just daft

Mid table is being generous. We are bottom 4. Sale is in last mid table place.Soggypitch wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2017 4:38 pm We are quite simply a mid table team. When was that ever good enough for Leicester?

I love watching a side who put 100% in whatever the opposition, whatever conditions, whatever the score. That used to be us. We are lucky to be 9th. Clueless rugby. MOC, pack yer bags!

Tigers have run out of steam. The defending in the 1st half has taken its toll.
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

I'm not going to blame the players for this one - tough match, exhausting defence in the first half.
Quite simply - poor coaching all round.

A result we all expected and yet turning round only 3 points down with the wind in our favour gave cause for slight optimism. But oh dear. What an awful 2nd half. They just don't look remotely like a 'team'.

Everyone says MOC needs to go and I don’t disagree. But we need a whole new coaching team which include a forwards and defence coaches. And I mean a TEAM of coaches, with experience, not ex Tigers players on the cheap.

Re: Tigers v Exeter
never challenging the line out is always stupid, a rigid plan like that leaves no room for htte players to put pressure on a defence when you have a slight edge in momentumstrawclearer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2017 4:44 pm I'm not going to blame the players for this one - tough match, exhausting defence in the first half.

Let's be honest - nobody thought we wpuld get anything from this game. The saddest reality though is I really dont see us finishing in the top 6 this season
