They're all direct quotes from their verified Twitter accounts - apart from Mrs S who put hers on a note and slipped it under the shed door!

Veainu gets a GBH injury from an idiot who leads with his head and nothing is said because he sparks himself. Have to agree the officiating, TMO’s and citing officers are incompetent and bringing this great game down. No blatant foul play should be missed when you have a TMO, if it is then let’s move on, as for Manu I can’t see what the big deal is with the tackle?!

Someone should let Care know that drink driving is ridiculous, and tell Fraser that they already are soft, and Strawclearer to see to his wife's needs! :smt047

It is just an early Christmas Hug? I do not see where that tackle should even get a raised eyebrow from the ref?

Jordan Crane: "Madness"

Freddie Burns: "Absolutely ludicrous. Might as well do @Manutuilagi for the wedgy on @benyoungs09 during the counter ruck if that’s where the game is going!"

Tom Youngs: "Very surprised to see Manu cited for what is just a tackle, in a contact sport! Disappointing for The Chief to have this to worry about after a massive effort to play 80 minutes in his return."

I think Manu should work out his hourly rate and then charge Jeff Marks - he's the C in all this - for the cost of having to go down to London tomorrow. Ludicrous!

[Sorry - not C - should be CC - Citing Commissioner]

I think the use of the single C in this instance is well justified strawclearer!

Seilala Mapusua: "The first point of contact from the tackler should be their shoulder. Why wouldn’t he lead with it? What should he lead with? His head? Shouldn’t be cited. Hard tackle. No malice. The games not played in slow motion. End of story"

Stupid citing as evidenced by the many professional players comments but mark my words he will get a ban because Cloete’s head goes backwards ...... in slow motion...... despite the fact that many body parts go backwards when hit by Manu or anyone else of his force of hit. I despair.

Was I attending the same match as this so called citing official? I saw no incident that warranted this kind of action, Ok Cloete was replaced but according to my watch this was at about the 60 minute mark. So his injury was so bad that he managed to struggle on for another 11 minutes! Crazy! :smt027

Noddy - you don’t have to be injured such that you can’t carry on to be cited. You need to have committed a red card offence that was unpunished (or is it unseen?) by the match officials. Regardless of whether Cloete carried on for 11 minutes , Manu can still be cited if it’s deemed a red card offence.
