I've just seen a cow jump over the moon, a pig has just flown over my house, just seen a saracen chasing a tiger 🐯, could this be an omen for tomorrow. HOPEFULLY!!

Oops too much of Big Dai's cognac maybe??

Here's hoping for 5 points tomorrow and a top 4 place over Christmas. :smt018

A 4 point win will do. That will put us in the top 4.

Ah! I wondered who had been drinking it. There should be plenty left as it's reserved for winning celebrations. But supplies are low. Don't see myself slaking my thirst anytime soon either.

Oh no he isn't!

Trust you Strawclearer. Hopefully we'll all be yelling "he's behind you" tomorrow as Jonny May leaves the Sarries chasers trailing in his wake.

Game day!
I’ll be getting behind the boys, regardless, and enjoying the game come what may. Presents wrapped, turkey in the fridge and a game at Welford Rd against the best team in Europe over the last few years.

Just a piece of useless information for you all:

24th December 1927 was the last time a match was played at Welford Road on Christmas Eve.

How many did we win by and against who? ( I am assuming that we could not have possibly lost)

The last team to play at Welford Road on Christmas Eve was Bridgwater & Albion back in 1927, with Tigers winning the game 29-0.

Possession kicked tamely away about 3 times in the first 5 minutes. Penalty apiece conceded by the Youngs. One kicked for 3 points. The other kicked to touch for great field position. May deliberate knock on. Penalty try and yellow card. Shambolic start.
