We had Brady and Holmes on the wings. At this level an experienced centre partnership. O'Connor and Evans in the back row. And we got humped.

Barely recognised a name in that Saints line up. Bejesus.

Although Saints were top of the league and humped us at their place so maybe their academy is :censored: hot.

Crikey. Expected a lot better from that team. Blame the forwards.

It was a very good saints squad that bullied us big style up front.

Tuitavake, Estelles and Ratuniyarawa are internationals.
Day has 200 caps
Nutley 73 caps, Dickinson 89 caps,

We paid the price for having a pretty young (don't think we had a player in the pack who was older than the opp equivalent) and inexperienced tight 5, and the combo of BOC, Evans and Tuilagi was really unbalanced and lightweight and the saints team punished us big style.

The younger players will learn alot from that and hopefully develop the senior players...... not so much. Some flashes of good but that squad shouldn't of been beaten that badly.

That depends on how highly you rate that squad RB!
My lad has had some very competitive battles with some of those young Saints forwards, he is very strong and they are also very strong!
They have some very good young props who are genuine prospects with far too much for what Leicester have got, and they have some very quick thinking and running backs who given an inch will take it!
The age group promoted up this season is generally not a strong age group so will flatter to deceive in my opinion!
It was a proper reality check and probably a much needed barometer of where they are!

Props wise
I think Heyes has some potential at only 18 so plenty of time for judgement on him, Hills hasn't seemed to progressed much since his injury.
Gonna give Grahamslaw a bit of time he has only just moved, not sure why they didn't keep him at 8 though, but hope it works out for him.

But I rate a few of the backs quite highly i certainly rate Olowofela and Simmons as extremely talented and Hardwick looks very solid when i have watched him and I think Reffell is more of the style that a current modern 7 needs to be than BOC or even Evans ATM. (Evans needs to bulk up IMO he might lose a bit of speed but 7 have to be able to dominate now).

Time will tell RB, they are all good players but some develop to the level required and some don't, and in the end it's all relative to how good everyone else is!

Some of those lads from both teams were playing for Leicester Lions in Nat2 north last season, Graysons lad is one to watch in the future.

Seems like the Club is collectively on a downer. That's far too good a side to be losing like that.
What nationality is the ref?

Just asking........

Good team, Good backline, hopefully a chance for some to put their hands up for selection next week.
Given the performance and result, do the Tigers have a Nat 2 side for selection?
