That would be a very good appointment. .. I am a little, he suprised he could be persuaded away but I suppose he wants a big job and be the top man. Mind you if that is the case why did we not consider it? .... or maybe we did and he could not be persuaded at the time or indeed by us!

Always a complex issue, going back to a club. A great appointment if it happens, Gustard is probably ready for a promotion.

A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

A fabulous appointment for Saints.

However we should have gone in for him. If we did and he didnt want it fine but Paul is a fantastic coach and would fix defensive problems and have allowed Smurf more influence on attack.

Theres some excellent coaching appointments going round whereas we seem to be sitting back and doing nowt.

You sound surprised - its been Tigers strategy for 5 years.

TBH I agree with you. But I was anti-MOC in the old days, so I am trying to fight against my bias and give it some time to sort out.

I always thought 'never go back' was a universal principle. Hence (at one level) my surprise at MOC returning to Welford Road.
ST in new Clubhouse stand ... sadly, my back's no longer up to standing :-(
