Re: Tigers v Munster
Well the returning players seem to have come through without injury against a good Munster team. Need to ensure we qualify for Europe next season. Top 4 would be good but not guaranteed this season. Where we go from here I don't know.

Re: Tigers v Munster
The smarter - by far - team won. Oh well. At least it wasn't a Hawaii.
Re: Tigers v Munster
Exactly what I have written above and as demonstrated by the performance at WR this evening

Re: Tigers v Munster
Tonight it was not a lack of physicality it was a lack of brain power and basic skills.
Terrible restarts, awful discipline, :censored: lineouts, bad ball retention, poor kicking again from Ben, just 2nd division stuff.
Munster were average and won away at a canter. Tigers players of old will be looking on with incredulity......ok I now nominate myself for the bah humbug award!!
Off to Castres in a month, shame I can't cancel the flights, it will be a cultural tour not a rugby tour!!

My God Johno how we need Johno - it's not far from Mowsley to Oadby, surely someone can get him to help out the shambles that are our forwards....RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 7:33 pm We played better than last week.

Re: Tigers v Munster
Lineout and breakdown not fit for purpose. If we can't compete at the breakdown then don't so we don't give away penalties. Kicking from hand needs either increased accuracy or eradication.

Re: Tigers v Munster
also i preferred Williams at 7 than anyone else this season so far.
Re: Tigers v Munster
Ironically Hamilton won a turnover with his first touch lol,he played a tackling, carrying back row that shouldve just fanned out and became a wall and instead they compete lol, dumb coaching with mixed messages!
Re: Tigers v Munster
Williams is away down the pecking order for me for as many hits and carry’s he makes he spills the ball and is out of position for twice as many look st Connor Murray’s break for their try. My thoughts are O’Connor, Hamilton and Evans all offer more, o’connor In the break down on the wide open, Hamilton in the breakdown, defence and close carrying and Evans in the breakdown and fitness.RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 7:38 pm also i preferred Williams at 7 than anyone else this season so far.

Re: Tigers v Munster
Just back from the game : here is my assessment.
No commitment, no skill, no game management, no team spirit, no line out, no decent kicking.
As Steve Johnson said on RL we have made no progress from last year. Personally I think we have regressed at the set piece game.
Again out of Europe too early.
I know I'll be shot down but is O'connor up to the job?? We're worse than last season
