Pies for Kalamafoni

Post by cowmadiddy »

There is a massive lack of pies in Kalamafoni at the minute - he is going into contact so often but not making yards and we at @eatyourpies believe it's down to a lack of pies available for Sione due to restrictions by the tigers dieticians.
Therefore we ask those of you with leftover pies after the Christmas season to please donate them to Kalamafoni needs more pies dot com

Bit harsh! Has been getting better the last couple of weeks in getting over the gainline. With a lack of other ball carriers in the pack against Munster, easy for their defence to double up on him.

Say what you want about him but how many other stood up and carried hard into a munster brick walk? he might not have broken anything but he didn't back off in contact unlike the majority of other forwards.

Considering he’s been easily one of our best forwards this season, plenty of others to have picked on over him!

Kalamafoni has been a shining light IMO, he may not carry like Vunipola but he does well and his experience shows generally, we'd have been much worse today with the backrow of last year

He does look a bit lightweight, compared to other No 8s, but he has certainly been one of our best players so far.

Prefer him at 6 but no doubting his commitment.

Brian O’Driscoll said he deserved a try, he certainly does

He's a solidly good player, like a Tongan Jordan Crane. But he is not top quality like a CJ Stander. I think most of our squad can be put into the good but not great category.

That's all very well said and done however maybe he just can't get any bulkier then he already is or if he does get bulkier he can't maintain that fitness.

Or to put it another way, mid-table mediocre.

Comparing the awful "gainline" Crane to Kalamafoni. Hang your head in shame man!

Certainly most of our forwards, Cole and Genge excepted.
