Is he old enough to drive? Could Courtney not give him a lift?
On the subject of rumours, Courtney Lawes and Leicester Tigers always seems to pick up somewhere.

Think that may be wishful thinking though.

Careful, an old timer will tell you that lineouts were better when there were no lifts.

Don't get fresh, you stick to the Chris P duck!
Leicester already have enough soft centered overly sensitive Daddies boys!

Realistically though in the supposed salary cap I wouldn't mind the young back row Harrison, looks as hard as nails that lad, and maybe the young centres Hutchinson and Dingwall!

Ouch.
Regarding the removal of our coaching staff last season. I remember some barbed comments and delight at our misfortunes from the wrong end of Welford Road.
Would it be crass of me to say He who laughs last...........too late.......

Wish Jim well and watch this space for Dorien and Harry???

I am that old-timer and it did cross my mind!

At 6'8" and a recognised lineout caller (and enforcer) he'd sure be useful!

You know how Saints are looking for a new DoR?

You know how Geordan Murphy hasn't signed for Cardiff yet?

He wouldn't.

Would he?

He'd sure be costly. Maybe we could swap him for one of our existing locks.

My Saints mate tells me that Mallinder Jr signed a three year contract with Saints not that long ago, as reported by the BBC only in October of this year.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/41748027

I quite like the lad, and think he has potential, and could actually be quite useful to us.
Despite many of the Saints squad being 'journeymen' there are quite a few that have been with Saints a long time, with several who have come up through their academy, so I would expect a fair amount of player loyalty. Whilst there will inevitably be some player turnover, not too sure that there will be an exodus.

With the out-of-sorts Wales wing George North expected to depart for the Dragons next season, and long-serving forwards coach Dorian West also rumoured to be on his way to Newcastle, Mallinder's power-base appears to be weakening. Winning will help rebuild it, but that must happen sooner rather ...
If Nobby went to Newcastle it wouldn't be as anything but a sideways move as Forwards Coach. I know John Wells is Head Coach up there but I wonder if he's up for a move back to the East Midlands? Does he have DoR aspirations or would he prefer to be a Forwards Coach? Just thinking out loud here!
Dave Walder is the Head Coach, Micky Ward the Forwards Coach with John Wells the Defence Coach.

The Stains fans seem to be angling for Pat Lam to go back to them. Can't see it myself but there are a lot of comments on social media with his name being No1.
