I am dismayed that Holmes and Polota-Nau are not in the revised squad. Not happy!

There are only a limited number of changes allowed (slightly different front row rules) so as long as May and Malouf are fit, with the experience of Thommo as cover, Holmes is unlucky but provides limited options positionally.

Ellis Genge will have a shoulder scan today and is a doubt for the trip to Munster. Gareth Owen is out. Jonny May is fit. Manu Tuilagi and Matt Toomua will play “before Christmas”. Zebo looks to be out along with O’Connor and Bleyendaal.

Not sure about Zebo - Munster are saying this "Simon Zebo was taken off as a precautionary measure at half-time on Saturday night but is expected to train this week."
They also say "Greencore Munster Rugby Academy prop Liam O’Connor requires further assessment on the knee injury he sustained against Ospreys and will undergo a scan today.

Jack O’Donoghue took a bang to the shoulder and will be managed by the medical team but is expected to train this week. Tommy O’Donnell (AC joint) returns to training this week. Duncan Williams showed no ill-effects having made his return to action as a replacement on Saturday night. Whilst not postulating on a team selection due to the inordinate number of injuries and speculation about who may be fit or not fit, there is only one thing to say which apologising for the bleeding obvious is that we most get a positive result pr our European dream will be over for yet another year.

Has to be a LBP minimum,cant see us getting 5 points in the return fixture.7 points at the halfway stage and im confident we will get through.

With all those out, it surely has to improve our chances, what are they left with?

I believe o’connor is injured and Holmes not registered for Europe. I would start Hamilton as he’s better in the breakdown than Williams. I’d also start Bateman over rizzo who only trained one week in the new pack and needs to get up to speed and loose j ford off the bench, Harrison can cover 10. for a specialist 2nd row replacement tuohy if fit otherwise wells.

It's true we have a lot of injuries right now but by my reckoning Eleven of the starting 15 will have Ireland caps (with 4 of them also having been lions tourists). So we will hopefully make a game of it

It's true we have a lot of injuries right now but by my reckoning Eleven of the starting 15 will have Ireland caps (with 4 of them also having been lions tourists). So we will hopefully make a game of it

We will find out tomorrow, before noon.But I realised it is only actually 10 capped Irish players available I had counted O'Donnell fogeting he was still out.

But of the players available there is Stander, O'Mahony, Murray and Zebo with Ireland & Lions experience. Then there is Keatley, Conway, Rory Scannell, Sweetnam, Holland and Kilcoyne with Ireland caps.
