Ricoh parking
Official car parks seem to be full. Anyone any ideas?
Re: Ricoh parking
I parked at a local rugby club last time. Can’t remember the details but it was pretty good.

Re: Ricoh parking
I heard that Wasps have instructed all the carparks within a certain radius to charge £20! If I owned a carpark I would open it for no charge!
Re: Ricoh parking
I heard that they smack children and steal guide dogs, too.
Gone right off them...

Re: Ricoh parking
On the Main island there is a travellers site by a derelict old social club £10,great lads! Get there early though
Re: Ricoh parking
**ATTENTION**
To all people wishing to park at Coventry Welsh this Saturday for the Wasps vs Tigers game.
There will be LIMITED spaces this week due to Coventry Welsh having a home fixture against Claverdon which kicks off at 2.15pm. Our best advice is to get there early so to avoid disappointment. Gates are open from 12.30.
Please don’t turn up just before kick off as there will probably be no spaces left!!

Re: Ricoh parking
Is it still the case that the train dosn't stop there on match days?

Re: Ricoh parking
Watch out for 'on street' parking - there are spots which dont look like they are residents only yet are covered by the event zone which is poorly signed - and makes your car liable to substantial fines. I saw several cars with PCNs on the walk back to our car park. I paid £20 for a spot in a car park for the Semi-final - would have been £10 if I'd pre-booked - apparently.
Re: Ricoh parking
At the Semi Finals, we parked in Town for about £4, then took the bus to the stadium, again I think it was about £4 for a return ticket for a Party of 5 or so. That was very good value, but suggest you get there early, bus route gets a bit tight on match days with on the road parkers blocking road.
Re: Ricoh parking
Mol2 Yes all trains from Nuneaton to Coventry stop at the Ricoh Arena station particularly on Match days or else what's the point of having a station there?

Re: Ricoh parking
Well it is an intermittent service by a 2 car train which weather & leaves permitting runs hourly.

There has been articles in the press about the service stops on match days. Good luck next season Noddy.
