Amidst all the good news it's interesting to see that Tigers have confirmed the duration of one of the contracts, which from what I remember, very rarely happens. Anyone any ideas what the motives may have been for doing that for Toomua's deal?

I suspect to clear up any questions re one year or two because of the world cup which he now has given up on - he is a true tiger and putting club before country.

Credit to the club for getting those players to sign up for new contracts. These are the sort of players we should be able to build a successful side around.
