Thats a fairly weak team on paper, hope it doesn't turn into another thumping at Barf.

He did say on Radio Leicester that he played a lot at 15 last season.

I expect we'll be soundly beaten, but it's still exciting to see how young talent faces up to a step up in quality of the opposition. They've got to start somewhere. :smt023

Same I’m not expecting a win to be honest but I’m interested as to how far this Tigers side will push Bath

Well I'm not on board with picking a team to lose, whether the LV= cup is seen as a developmental competition or not. Thrashings don't tend to help development nor morale.

Definitely a 'sort out' game for the Tigers. Them's that have and them's that have not? I'm not expecting a win but I do expect a full on 80 mins from the Tigers. Nothing less will do IMO as it will show that the Tigers can put a game together with the Ints missing.

Pumped isn’t he would imagine he’s getting some sledging.
Plenty of positives from the youngsters, 4th choice tighthead is struggling against Auterac

13-17 Tigers at half time. Burns with a lovely try at the end of the half.

It may be half time but I think we can be proud of our kids. They've done very well and are beating a much more experienced team, no matter what happens next half they've exceeded most of our expectations.

Cracking first half from Tigers. If we play like that in the second half, I'll be happy whatever the result.

Come on Tigers!

Very decent 40 mind against a much stronger bath side , Burns is behaving like a petulant child.

Bath's strength may come to the fore later - such as Auterac vs Bauman - but the boys are up for it and doing us proud!

Good first 40, Simmons and Hardwick look very good, Baumann struggling against Auterac which is disappointing.

If Tigers are smart they will try to rile Burns in the 2nd half as he's close to boiling over

Agreed on the above! This season has definitely shown Tigers got the better deal with Ford, Burns nowhere near the same league!

Backs look nervous on the ball but some good half breaks by Olewfela and Simmons. Harry Thacker being his usual self around the park, a must keep! Good little bits from Lewis and Reffell!
