Sorry John such a long journey by coach is unacceptable to those of us who suffer from Diabetes, if I do manage to be able to afford to go it will be to make a holiday of it and travel by rail via Eurostar to Paris staying overnight in each direction. I would be obliged however if you could let me know which hotel you are using in Castres.

Does anyone have any ideas about when the match date will be announced? We have flights booked out to Carcassonne on Wednesday 10 January but are unsure what to do about the return- hoping to build in a bit of winter sightseeing in the area.

Usually not until after round 4. The TV companies like to pick the matches for broadcast when they know which ones will be "important".
