Thought that was just a rumour made up by Inside Rugby Line. Barrow tweeted the following day basically rubbishing the rumour.

He tweeted after the Irish match:

"Good to start the week with us getting back to winning ways @LeicesterTigers 💪🏻 Can't wait to get back out there with the boys!!"

Hardly seems that he wants to leave, seems made up. Don’t get why some people give Inside Rugby Line so much air time, especially as he is a Saints fan.

He didn't start it, there was multiple sources saying that the fight happened, all RIL said was that he would be joining Sale within days of the rumour starting

Harry Thacker confirmed on twitter that he's off to Bristol next season. Not entirely unexpected, an important move for him and opportunity to perhaps specialise in a single position. Harry's passion and tenacity are his greatest assets right now, not enough though to secure a regular first team place.

Here is the full Bristol listing for "Signed up Saturday" for those interested.

Shame. But all the Thacker bashers on here will be made up. From my perspective I'll miss the bloke. Looks like we'll carry on buying in southern hemisphere journeymen rather than developing from within. That includes the coach. Not my type of club.

I didn’t want Thacker to go, McGuigan sure since he has given up these past few weeks, months even. Fully Devoted to the last, that little dumpster truck, I’ll never forget his try versus the auld enemy 2years ago

Things like the above against Sarries should not be forgotten, the players around him have done excellently in carrying him to date but it has been to their detriment in my opinion!
If only he had done more, it’s all well and good weakening the set piece for mobility but he has done absolutely nothing to warrant such special treatment since that try against Saints which was a very long time ago now, he has been average around the park since!
I am all for developing from within, but am also glad that Leicester might just be able to move on from weak forward play and get with it in terms of challenging the best!
I repeat though only might be able to move on, it has been a problem to manage from the start in my opinion but the club have done well to get over sixty appearances under his belt at this age, though it has been one of the poorest periods in the professional era, and he now leaves Leicester high and dry!

Those penalty tries weren't down purely to Thackers weight, it was also Cocker's outdated scrum coaching and the fact that the back 3 of Slater, Croft and Pearce is underpowered and light

So it was Cockers coaching and Slater, Croft and Pearce' lack of power that were to blame, btw I did hear that sort of chatter before, I did have a feeling that it would be Cockers undoing!
Sorry JP but he has simply not added enough positive influence about the park to make up for the negative set piece and mauling strength, if he were influencing matches positively with his mobility then fair enough, but apart from one game out of nearly seventy he has not in my opinion!

Yes, maybe I'm and old sentimentalist, too fond of his Remy but I would like to see more development of our own instead of fly by night journeymen. I don't believe the footage you allude to was entirely Thacker's fault. It took eight to screw that up, not one individual, cheap shots and oversimplification as ever! From my experience the 2nd row do much to build the foundation of a good scrum, they don't call it the engine room for nothing. In any case Thacker's "evolution" could have turned him into a worthy 7. Something we do lack at the moment. Possibly due to the DoR's obsession with bulk over brains.

Strange, a so called obsession with bulk over brains and yet Thacker has nearly seventy Leicester appearances!
