Fantastic win, well chuffed. A real grinder! Only matched last season though so still 8 points down on last season,Chiefs next a proper test,a game where we can claw points back after being destroyed at WR last season.
Re: Tigers Vs Quins
Delighted - fought to the end . Toomua is excellent - hope he keeps fit !

Anyone wanting to know why Genge was given a yellow card at the scrum. We have just asked him. He said ':censored: knows'.
Re: Tigers Vs Quins
He gave them both a yellow because the scrum kept collapsing and he adjudged them to both be at fault.MrPartridge wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2017 5:44 pm Anyone wanting to know why Genge was given a yellow card at the scrum. We have just asked him. He said ':censored: knows'.

Re: Tigers Vs Quins
Harsh on Ellis that one as Collier definitely went down but ref obviously thought best to get them both off. Just gave Ellis a 10 minute break before winding Sincklar up.

71 percent in the lineout , who'd have thought it?
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.
Re: Tigers Vs Quins
Quality of ball much improved though
Re: Tigers Vs Quins
Really great win to get our season going, 2 wins out of 2. Much needed momentum when you host the champions next weekend, which will be another cracker.
The game took it out of the boys, a few potential injuries and concussions. Special mention to Toomua, who was superb. Genge just seems on another planet with ball carrying and Malouf's positioning has come on so much. Veainu on fire as per usual.
Come on boys, Exeter will certainly be cautious coming to WR, and I cannot wait

Well, a great result
Matt Smith and Matt Toomau are wonderful defenders. The backs in tandem look dangerous
Malouf and May a great combination
Nos 9 and 10-England first choices.
Veaninu just magical.
Thev forwards looked much more cohesive and well up for it
Genge must be a dead cert for England
Better news----this was probably the match that Brown finally convinced our Eddie his days are numbered..what a t**t
Only one problem-we lose all the stars for the Internationals...

Re: Tigers Vs Quins
I'm sure all the lads were exhausted at the end as will the Exeter team after the Wasps game tomorrow and we've got an extra days recovery
Re: Tigers Vs Quins
It's pointless comparing the points last season to this season and to be honest, if it's going to be done every week, is going to get even more tedious than it already is. What happens at the end of the season if we are, for example, 10 points down on last season but end up winning the title? Will there be comments saying well done on winning the title but we got less points than last season??
